A family business, built on good design

A textile studio in inner-Melbourne Brunswick.

KE Design is a family-run, community-minded business, known for beautiful products made from high-quality natural and recycled fabrics.

Our recycled microfibre tea towels do more than look good. They dry and polish crockery, glassware and cutlery, lifting smears, watermarks and fingerprints.

Most of our designs are the work of local Australian artists, so every towel carries a piece of Australian design.

About Our Workforce

A proud business making a difference.

When you shop with KE Design, you help sustain jobs for people living with disabilities in Melbourne, and you support the local community.

Brunswick Industries Association, formerly the Brunswick Sheltered Workshop, began in 1968 as a joint venture between the Mount Royal Hospital and the Brunswick Lions and Rotary Clubs. For over 50 years its mission has not changed: to give local people with disabilities meaningful, well-paid work in a place built around their needs.

KE Design has worked alongside the workshop for over 15 years, and we are now its largest customer. We are one of only a few companies in Victoria permitted to have supported workers print and pack beside our open employment team.
